About Us
Nchekube, meaning “Hope” in the Igbo language, is a faith-based, child-focused charity committed to ending all forms of child abuse across Africa. Founded on the belief that every child deserves safety, love, and a voice, Nchekube stands as a beacon of hope and restoration for vulnerable and abused children.
Guided by the biblical call in Isaiah 1:17, we seek justice, defend the oppressed, and offer refuge to the fatherless. Our mission is not only to rescue children from abuse but to transform the environments that allow abuse to thrive—through awareness, education, empowerment, and faith-driven action.
Who we are
We are a dedicated team of changemakers who believe that every act of kindness can uplift a child and help build a brighter future.
We began by supporting children and young people who were eager to learn and build better lives for themselves. Our mission grew stronger as we discovered countless others in need of food, shelter, and education. With a larger team and wider reach, we expanded to different regions to ensure that no child in need is left behind.
We want to build a world where no child or youth feels alone and gets every possible help they need as soon as possible.
